My wife, Amber, got me involved in genealogy shortly after we met, and I have taken off
with it. We are both French-Canadian and thus have found each other to be related many
times over (just as every French-Canadian is!!!). We are both members of the American-Canadian Genealogical Society in Manchester, NH,
and have done most of our research there. Click Here
to view my Family Tree Maker page which lists some of the genealogy work that I have done
on my family. We have also started working on
gathering all of the Blais and Beland marriages in Canada, and eventually in the US as
well. We would love it if you could send us your
Blais or Beland straight lines (with full dates
and places and documentation if you have it), it will help us get as complete a record as
possible. It's going to take a long time, but it's been fun so far and would
appreciate any help. You can also visit a link of part of
my genealogy lines.
Other Genealogy Links
Family Tree Maker - this is the program
that I use and enjoy to do my genealogy. Their site can be helpful for anyone interested
in genealogy--even if you don't have their program.
Famille Beland - they have
done the Beland genealogy work that Amber and I had started on and placed
their wonderful work on the web - a great site for Beland researchers.
Ancestry.com - they've got some free searches as
well as ones that you need to pay for, but can be very helpful (I used one of their free
searches to solve a huge problem).
Genealogy Gateway - A whole
bunch of genealogy surname links and other info.
